Louisa + Michael | Hotel Monaco
We live for elegant weddings with timeless details. And that’s exactly what Louisa and Michael’s ethereal wedding was. We’re still swooning over the soft pinks, gold accents, and perfectly placed greenery!
While the couple lives in New York City, they wanted to have their wedding in Pittsburgh, where their love story began. From the minute we met Louisa and Michael, we knew they shared such a genuine and authentic love. One of our favorite parts of the day was the way they looked and interacted with one another during their first look. Abbie Tyler Photography captured it all so well and our hearts were exploding with happiness for these two!
Louisa walked down the aisle carrying a wedding bouquet filled with spray roses, ranunculus, blue thistle, and touches of eucalyptus. Her elegant dress from Blanc de Blanc fused seamlessly with Michael’s contemporary style. The guys were seen in a classic black tuxedo, while the ladies wore mismatched bridesmaids dresses in the soft pink hue.
Their wedding design came together and worked well with the décor and style the Hotel Monaco’s ballroom. Escort cards hand-tied by the bride, sat in front of a gorgeous antique mirror draped in greenery, while beautiful table numbers printed on organic paper with soft edges provided such delicate detail that brought so much beauty to their venue. Vintage teacups collected by Louisa’s family were displayed, each one being so beautiful and unique from the next. Each time we went to unwrap the next teacup, we would get excited to see it’s features and be in awe of the design! It was one of our favorite parts of the set up.
Matches engraved with their initials were the perfect favor, considering the two are in fact a perfect match! You can tell Louisa and Michael admire each other for all that they are and we couldn’t be happier to have experienced a big part of their love story. Here’s to their next chapter and much continued happiness!
